Assistant Bakery Manager

Responsibilities Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system oversight Lead and supervise team members to ensure delivery of outstanding guest services and build community relationships Support employee orientation, training & development initiatives to foster a motivated and skilled workforce Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales opportunities Conduct interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes for new staff members Assist with scheduling and daily production needs Implement effective marketing strategies and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales growth Skills Strong leadership with proven assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail/food settings Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and engage customers effectively Proficiency in retail math, sales management, inventory management, and cash handling procedures Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Experience with POS systems, wireless sales, and merchandising techniques Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple responsibilities including shift management and customer service excellence Join us if you’re ready to lead with energy and make a meaningful impact!
