Our Electronic Controls & Motion (ECM) division is currently seeking Assembly Technicians to join our Irwin, PA team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the assembly of our products. Positions are available on 1st and 2nd Shifts. Responsibilities Assemble finished products using various tools with strong attention to detail Meet daily production standards and operational metrics Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and/or reports Conduct visual inspections of assembled parts to ensure quality and accuracy. Label products and perform initial packaging to prepare items for shipping. Ensure proper handling, use, and disposal of chemicals, substances and materials, as needed Promote a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives in areas of quality, safety, cost and on-time delivery through High Performance Teams. Standard work and ad hoc responsibilities as defined by organizational priorities and standards. Workflow determined by internal and external customer requirements. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Prior manufacturing experience Working knowledge of hand tools. Proficient in basic math skills Ability to effectively read, interpret, and follow instructions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong outlook towards safety and quality Ability to stay organized and keep work area clean Ability to manage multiple tasks in a lean environment Ability to learn quickly on the job Strong team player and able to collaborate with people across different functions Ability to work overtime, as needed.
