Summary We are seeking an Assembly Line Material Handler to join our team at Value-Added Food Sales. This role is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring that our products are handled safely and effectively, contributing directly to our mission of supporting hunger relief. This is a first-shift opportunity. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse. Load and unload delivery trucks with shelf-stable grocery products. Move and stage materials for assembly/packaging line. Communicate with delivery drivers. Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring accuracy and safety in all operations. Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse space to promote efficient workflow. Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with company standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize inventory management and storage solutions. Maintain accurate records of material movement and stock usage. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Support our food box assembly line as needed to include supervising or working on the line by filling gravity flow lanes, stacking and palletizing, and packing. Requirements Experience working in a storage warehouse or manufacturing facility. Familiarity with assembly line processes and warehouse operations is essential. Valid forklift certification and experience forklift driving are required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
