Assembler, Shipper & Receiver

Propower Mfg. in LaSalle is seeking an Assembler, Shipper & Receiver to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time, day shift position. The candidate we are looking for is hands-on, self-motivated, and team-oriented with plenty of hustle and excellent problem solving skills. Duties Verify hardware and accessories required for each finished assembly through the use of blue prints and bills of material Assemble tanks, accessories and kits as specified by drawings Perform final quality inspections Prepare skids of finished goods for shipment utilizing standard shipping materials and practices Complete purchase requisitions to maintain sufficient inventory of components Operate overhead cranes, fork truck, and other machinery to move material Maintain a clean, orderly work area Adhere to and abide by all safety procedures and work in a safe manner Qualifications Grade 12 education 1+ year of assembly experience Excellent manual dexterity Blueprint reading experience Ability to operate power tools Good physical condition with ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle material Excellent reliability and attendance habits with ability to work independently Experience using material handling equipment would be an asset (fork truck, crane, pallet jack, etc.) Benefits Health, dental and long-term disability benefits Vacation entitlement that increases with length of service Participation in RRSP program with employer percentage match Participation in employer's discretionary bonus program Personal Protective Equipment provided Safe, clean working environment Competitive wages with annual review We appreciate your interest in our company.
