ASRS Operations & Systems Analyst

What the Role Is The ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) Operations & Systems Analyst supports reliable Finished Case Goods ASRS operations at Bardstown Operations, with primary responsibility for inventory control, inventory accuracy, system integrity, and transaction flow between IFS, Savannah, and Westfalia. The position monitors and reconciles inventory, investigates system and transaction exceptions, leads root-cause analysis, and partners with Operations, IT, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve issues affecting physical or system inventory. The Analyst also drives continuous improvement of ASRS and inventory-control processes to protect product availability, shipping execution, and record accuracy. How You Will Spend Your Time? Own day-to-day inventory control support for Finished Case Goods at Bardstown Operations, with emphasis on ASRS inventory accuracy, location integrity, transaction accuracy, and timely discrepancy resolution. Monitor and validate inventory and transaction data flow between IFS, Savannah, and Westfalia ASRS systems; identify interface failures, mismatches, duplicate or missing transactions, and other exceptions affecting inventory accuracy. Manage and troubleshoot system faults that interrupt the physical flow of Finished Case Goods into, within, or out of ASRS racking. Audit inbound, storage, movement, retrieval, and shipping transactions to verify physical and system inventory remain aligned. Analyze and troubleshoot inventory transaction errors, including software, hardware, palletizer, and material-handling exceptions; coordinate timely corrective action. Maintain and improve business processes that ensure inventory consistency, transaction discipline, and data accuracy; educate applicable employees on these processes. Identify and resolve inventory and system discrepancies in accordance with established business rules and controls. Perform transaction audits, exception reviews, cycle counts, and location audits to drive sustained inventory accuracy. Coordinate inventory reconciliations and investigate variances; determine root cause, document findings, recommend or obtain approval for adjustments, make system corrections, and implement preventive actions. Perform inventory audits throughout the Finished Case Goods lifecycle, including documentation review, product accountability checks, process verifications, and periodic inventory-control system reviews. Develop and maintain inventory-control routines, exception reporting, metrics, and trend analysis to identify recurring issues and improve ASRS performance. Partner with Operations, IT, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve hardware, software, interface, and process issues interrupting automated data or product flow. Support operational testing, system changes, upgrades, and continuous-improvement projects involving ASRS, warehouse inventory systems, interfaces, and related material-flow processes. Document standard work for ASRS operations, inventory control, transaction accuracy, and exception handling; serve as an analytical resource on inventory health and operational risk. Who You Are… Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems or related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered Minimum three (3) years’ related experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, systems analysis, data analysis, automated material handling and/or process improvement Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, plus enterprise resource planning, warehouse/inventory management, and automated warehouse systems Highly analytical, assertive, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize with minimal supervision Strong knowledge of inventory reconciliation, cycle counting, variance investigation, transaction auditing, root-cause analysis, and corrective action Evaluate …
