Art Transportation Driver

Job Description: Flanders Fine Arts is seeking an experienced Art Transportation driver to join our logistics team. ( No CDL Required) Join a team of industry leaders with a priority in providing the best storage and transportation services to the East End of Long island. Located in a hamlet of Southampton, our recently renovated facilities offer local (North and South Fork) installation, a weekly shuttle to New York City, in addition to storage and related warehouse handling and collection services. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles (box truck, van) and perform all required pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip truck inspections Collaborate with your driving partner and internal teams to plan, organize, load, and unload trucks, ensuring the optimal safety and security of objects during transit Ensure compliance with all local, state, and DOT regulations, maintaining an excellent driving record and adhering to all security procedures Handle and move artworks, including wrapping, packing, and crating using appropriate industry-standard techniques and materials.Additionally, conduct inspections of various art objects as needed Act as a professional liaison while on-site between clients, institutions, and company management, and conduct accurate inspection reports for various types of art objects Fine art warehouse support as required, including art handling, receives and releases, and inventory database management Requirements : Valid driver qualifications and a clean driving record Experience in driving delivery shuttle, box truck, van, or passenger van (Preferred) Art Handling Experience (Preferred) Art Education/background (Preferred) Complete a DOT physical as part of onboarding process Expected Hours of Work : 20-24 hours per week As a start-up company, only 20-24 hrs. per week are expected until we transition into full time. Minimum or Maximum amount : $35-$40 (commensurate with experience) Part time with potential of full time position Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week Work Location: In person
