Partner with ownership on budgeting, forecasting, sales goals, and expense-management priorities. Oversee ordering, inventory levels, shrink, waste, product availability, and inventory accuracy. Manage key vendor, distributor, service-provider, and supplier relationships. Support local marketing, promotions, merchandising, signage, and other sales-driving initiatives. Recruit, hire, coach, and develop General Managers and other key store leadership roles. Provide operational oversight of fuel, convenience retail, restaurant/foodservice, alcohol, tobacco/vaping, lottery, and other regulated categories. Ensure compliance with company policies, responsible-sales requirements, safety standards, licensing requirements, and applicable regulations. Monitor cash controls, loss prevention, theft, fraud, and other asset-protection risks. Visit stores regularly to identify issues, reinforce standards, support leaders, and drive accountability for results. Serve as the primary escalation point for significant store-level operational, staffing, vendor, customer, or compliance issues. Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, customer experience, and overall business performance across the area. Experience Required: 5+ years of retail, convenience-store, gas station, restaurant, or related operational leadership experience. Previous experience directly managing Store Managers, General Managers, or multiple retail locations.
