Area Leader Warehouse - 3rd Shift

Job Summary: Assists with the supervision of a shift of warehouse operations and activities including receiving, storage, and distribution of all items for a multi-shift operation, received either from internal departments or external resources/suppliers. Ensures that parts and supplies are distributed to proper departments in a safe and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements. Job Duties and Responsibilities: High school graduate plus 1-year experience in a leadership position in Warehouse operations in production operations in a non-exempt, non-union workforce. Ability to obtain a forklift certification and must have a clean driving record. Prior experience with reach truck/stand up forklift is required. Experience in Lean manufacturing techniques is a plus. Computer Knowledge- SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required Must be able to speak, read, and write in basic English; Spanish is a plus. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to bend, squat, and maneuver to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds with a hoist, pallet-jack or cart. Some facilities are multi-level and may require ascending or descending stairs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Multi-shift production operations may be expansive, noisy, wet/humid and vary in temperature from refrigerated environment, ambient or warm in summer months depending on facility. Starting Pay: $32.80/hr., a shift differential is offered for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the 90th day of employment.
