Area Field Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Area Field Supervisor to lead and oversee operations across multiple retail locations and transportation routes within a designated region. This energetic role involves managing delivery schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, building strong customer relationships, and supporting retail store teams. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a passion for sales and customer service, and the ability to coordinate logistics efficiently. As an Area Field Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, optimizing route performance, and fostering a positive team environment. Responsibilities Supervise daily route driving activities, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to safety standards and DOT regulations Coordinate with retail store teams to support merchandising efforts and promote upselling opportunities Manage commercial truck driving assignments, including automobile transportation and heavy lifting tasks using safe lifting practices Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication, client engagement, and problem resolution Oversee pricing strategies during deliveries and sales interactions to maximize revenue opportunities Ensure compliance with all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and transportation regulations Conduct regular route audits, performance evaluations, and safety inspections to optimize efficiency and team productivity Support drivers in route planning, organization of delivery schedules, and troubleshooting logistical challenges Experience Proven experience in retail store environments with customer relationship building skills Prior experience in commercial driving, including commercial truck driving and route management Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and heavy lifting procedures Strong math skills for pricing calculations, route optimization, and inventory management Demonstrated ability to upsell products or services effectively during customer interactions Excellent communication skills for client engagement and team coordination Ability to perform physically demanding tasks involving heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices Organizational skills necessary for managing multiple routes, schedules, and client accounts effectively Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Application Question(s): Have you managed over 100 employees at once?
