Duties Assist experienced butchers with meat cutting, trimming, and portioning to meet customer specifications Prepare and package meat products ensuring quality and presentation standards are maintained Handle food products safely by following proper hygiene and food safety procedures Support the team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area and storage facilities Engage with customers by providing friendly service, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Follow all food handling regulations to ensure compliance with health standards Contribute to inventory management by rotating stock and assisting with stock replenishment Skills Basic understanding of the food industry, especially food preparation and handling practices Strong interest in butchery techniques and meat cutting processes Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene procedures Ability to handle food products carefully to prevent contamination or spoilage Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation environments is a plus Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new skills Embark on a fulfilling journey into the world of butchery!
