Application Administrator, Global Trade Compliance (Remote)
BAE Systems USAJob Description This role can be remote. The Application Administrator is responsible for the day‑to‑day configuration, administration and operational reliability for a portfolio of business‑critical applications used across Legal Operations, Global Trade, Ethics and Security. The role requires strong platform administration capabilities, disciplined change management, data protection and compliance practices, and the ability to operate in environments balancing enterprise standards with sector‑specific needs. Supported applications include workflow automation platforms, audit and records systems, and IP modernization tools. Responsibilities Platform administration and configuration Configure, administer and harden application instances and environments, including user provisioning, role‑based access, secrets and certificate management, logging and monitoring, and platform upgrades. Build and maintain workflows, rules, forms and integrations for Appian, Power Automate and related platforms to meet business process requirements while maintaining security and supportability. Reliability, release and change Own release pipelines for application changes, plan and execute upgrades, patches and vendor releases, and coordinate with enterprise TRB/CAB processes to minimize risk and downtime. Establish operational dashboards, health checks and alerting, and drive incident and problem management to meet or exceed SLAs. Integration and interoperability Maintain integrations among CLM systems, ERP and export tools, Legal portals and trackers, and ServiceNow request flows for Ethics and Security use cases. Ensure DNS, identity, network and data flows comply with enterprise patterns; collaborate with AD/PKI, Borderless, GSOC and Messaging services where required. Stakeholder enablement Translate business requirements from Legal Operations, Global Trade, Ethics and Security teams into secure, supportable configurations. Create concise runbooks, SOPs and user guides; deliver targeted training to super users and coordinators in each function. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience. 5+ years administering enterprise business applications with a focus on configuration, workflow and integration. Strong command of change, incident and problem management processes; comfortable operating in TRB/CAB governance contexts. Hands‑on skills in scripting or low‑code configuration for platform automation and data quality. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with both business and IT stakeholders to enable translation of business needs into application configurations. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Practical understanding of and experience implementing controls aligned to NIST 800‑171 and CMMC. 3+ years’ technical work experience with an export management system application. 3+ years of work experience delivering solutions using the system development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology with an Iterative Waterfall or Agile Scrum project management framework. #LI-DM2 #LI-Remote Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $79370 - $134929 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
