Appliance Installer/Delivery Driver

Overview As an appliance installer/delivery driver, you’ll deliver, move, and install products while providing dependable service at each stop. You’ll drive assigned routes, handle items safely, and use mobile devices to keep delivery information current. This hands-on role combines commercial driving, warehouse operations, and customer interaction. Duties Drive a 26-foot box truck on delivery routes, follow traffic regulations, and comply with applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Load and unload products, using a pallet jack or other material handling equipment when appropriate; apply safe lifting practices when handling heavy items. Deliver and install products at customer locations, including deliveries that may involve moving items through homes or other spaces. Use mobile devices to review route details, record delivery progress, and communicate updates. Support warehouse operations by preparing orders and handling materials; provide clear, courteous customer service throughout each delivery. Requirements Experience as an appliance delivery and installer, commercial truck driving or other commercial driving experience is preferred. Familiarity with box trucks, route driving, delivery and installation of appliances and adhering to traffic regulations. Warehouse experience, including warehouse operations, manual handling, load and unload tasks, and material handling equipment operation. Ability to perform moving and HEAVY lifting tasks, with consistent attention to safe lifting practices and workplace weight-handling procedures. Manual transmission experience is preferred; comfort using mobile devices and communicating professionally with customers is important.
