Appliance Installer/Delivery Driver

Job Title: Appliance Installation Technician (1099 Independent Contractor) Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Appliance Installation Technician to provide professional installation services for basic kitchen and laundry appliances at customer residences. This is an independent contractor (1099) position requiring the successful candidate to complete a high-volume route of 15–20 stops per day. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong time management skills, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety in a fast-paced environment. Compensation is between $150 to $170 per day, depending on experience. Responsibilities: · Perform installation of basic kitchen appliances, including refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, and microwaves, as well as laundry appliances, including washers and dryers · Load, secure, and transport appliances to customer locations utilizing a 26-foot box truck · Complete 15–20 installation stops per day while consistently maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards · Connect appliances to water lines, power sources, and venting systems as required, and verify proper operation upon completion · Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections to identify damage or defects and document findings accordingly · Deliver courteous and professional customer service, including reviewing installation details and obtaining required confirmations · Maintain accurate records of completed work and report any issues to the appropriate personnel Requirements: · Demonstrated experience driving a 26-foot box truck (required) · Prior experience in appliance installation, delivery, or a related field preferred · Ability to safely lift, maneuver, and position heavy appliances · Valid driver's license with a clean driving record · Must be willing and able to work as an independent contractor (1099), including responsibility for applicable taxes and insurance · Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a demanding daily route · Professional demeanor, dependable attendance, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction Pay: $150.00 - $170.00 per day Work Location: In person
