Appliance Installer/Delivery Driver

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Appliance Installer and Delivery Driver, where you'll be the key to delivering exceptional service and ensuring appliances are installed safely, efficiently, and to customer satisfaction. This role combines the excitement of on-the-road delivery with the technical expertise of appliance installation, offering a vibrant opportunity to showcase your mechanical skills and customer service talents. You'll operate company vehicles, handle diverse appliances, and troubleshoot issues to ensure every customer experience is positive and seamless. Duties Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport appliances to residential or commercial locations. Unload appliances carefully, ensuring damage-free delivery and proper handling. Install a variety of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and more, following manufacturer schematics and installation instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble and secure appliances according to specifications. Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the installation process. Complete detailed documentation of deliveries, installations, repairs, and any issues encountered during service calls. Requirements Proven experience with appliance installation, repair, or field service roles involving mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with electrical wiring, plumbing connections and minor carpentry work. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of electrical work and plumbing related to appliance setup. Experience with delivery driver responsibilities including safe vehicle operation and navigation skills. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company or commercial vehicles preferred. Ability to read technical and installation manuals. Physical ability to lift heavy appliances regularly and work in various environment.
