Appliance Installer and Delivery Driver

Duties Safely operate box trucks and delivery vehicles to transport appliances to customer locations, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws. Unload appliances from trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit. Install a variety of household appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers according to manufacturer specifications and schematics. Use mechanical knowledge and electrical experience to assemble appliances, connect electrical components, and troubleshoot basic issues on-site. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately install complex systems like refrigeration units or HVAC equipment. Conduct thorough testing of installed appliances to verify proper operation and customer satisfaction. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience for each customer. Experience Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record in a box truck or similar vehicle. Hands-on experience with appliance repair, equipment repair or field service roles. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in electrical systems, refrigeration. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals confidently. Customer service background demonstrating effective communication skills and professionalism in client interactions. Knowledge of assembly processes for household appliances and familiarity with basic electrical wiring is highly desirable. Prior experience working with tools, troubleshooting mechanical issues, or performing equipment repairs will set you apart.
