Appliance Delivery/Installer

Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused Delivery & Installation Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe delivery, installation, and setup of commercial laundry equipment at a variety of customer locations. The Delivery & Installation Technician will work closely with the Installation Manager and other members of the installation team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and professionally. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, comfortable with physical work, and committed to providing an excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities Deliver laundry equipment to customer locations safely and on schedule. Load and unload washers, dryers, and related equipment while taking appropriate precautions to prevent damage. Assist with the installation, setup, leveling, and testing of laundry equipment. Remove and relocate existing equipment when required. Assist the Installation Manager and installation team with projects and daily assignments. Use hand tools, power tools, moving equipment, and other installation tools safely and appropriately. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including installation sites, vehicles, and equipment. Inspect equipment before and after delivery and report any damage or issues. Follow company safety procedures and proper lifting and equipment-handling practices. Communicate professionally with customers and team members. Help ensure each installation is completed neatly and that the customer receives a positive experience. Perform other delivery, warehouse, and installation-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record required. Ability to safely drive company delivery vehicles. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering heavy equipment with appropriate tools and assistance. Comfortable working with hand and power tools. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills preferred. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing work correctly. Professional and courteous when interacting with customers. Previous experience in appliance delivery, equipment installation, maintenance, construction, plumbing, electrical, or a related field is preferred but not required. Work Environment This is a hands-on position that involves traveling to customer locations and working in a variety of environments. The position may require standing, bending, lifting, climbing stairs, and moving heavy equipment throughout the workday.
