Appliance Delivery & Installation Team Member - Seasonal/Temporary

Job Description Monadnock Appliance is a well-established home appliance service provider and retailer in Southwest NH. We are currently seeking a candidate to join our delivery and installation team on a seasonal/temporary basis. However, this could lead to a permanant position. If you have basic mechanical knowledge, a clean driving record, the ability to team lift heavy objects, and enjoy working with people, we would love to speak with you about joining our rapidly growing team! Job Description The delivery team is responsible for the safe, timely delivery of appliances to our customers' homes, as well as the installation of new appliances. These include refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, and ranges. This position requires using provided equipment to team lift and safely move heavy appliances. Primary job functions include, but are not limited to: - Operate 20’ box truck with lift gate - Work as a team to plan and execute safe delivery at each location while ensuring employee, customer, and property safety - This job requires heavy lifting and the ability to team carry large appliances - Ensure customer is satisfied with delivery and appliance set up – excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor are a must - Keep delivery vehicle clean and organized - Accurately record all daily activities following company guidelines - Follow all local, state, and federal traffic and safety regulations - Assist other departments, as needed, including unloading incoming delivery trucks We will provide: - Comprehensive training with ongoing continuing education - Company Vehicle - Basic tools required for product installation - The opportunity to train and grow into other areas of our rapidly growing company The ideal candidate will have: · High school diploma or equivalent · Valid driver’s license with clean driving record · Ability to pass physical for DOT medical card · Ability to pass background check · Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools · Good communication and customer service skills · Professional appearance and demeanor · The ability to perform strenuous work with heavy lifting · The ability to work both independently and as a team to maintain daily schedule · Plumbing, electrical, and gas experience a plus, but not required Job Type: Full-time, seasonal Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
