Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, and troubleshooting a wide range of household appliances, ensuring each customer receives exceptional service from start to finish. Seeking applicants with Class E Missouri driver license to deliver customer appliances, furniture, exercise equipment, patio furniture, and other products. Delivery installers began their day in the warehouse help loading the delivery truck for the route. This position does require driver to unload and install products where applicable. Deliveries are made to homes, businesses, and building sites. Very physical demanding position this account does deliver to multi-family location where drivers and helpers are required to move heavy products up or down as many 5 flights of stairs without elevator using a dolly and proper team-lifting techniques Duties Safely operate company vehicles to deliver appliances to customer locations while adhering to all safety protocols. Install appliances accurately according to manufacturer specifications and schematics, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and more. Troubleshoot equipment issues using ladder use, hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices; diagnose problems related to refrigeration, electrical wiring, plumbing, or mechanical components. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on appliances in the field, utilizing appliance repair knowledge and equipment troubleshooting skills. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate proper installation and repair procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during each interaction. Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work performed; ensure all safety standards are followed during installation and repair processes. Qualifications Proven experience with appliance installation, repair, or field service work; service technician experience is highly valued. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with refrigeration systems is a plus. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately; experience with ladder use is advantageous. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and plumbing fixtures. Knowledge of assembly procedures for various appliances; experience with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) practices preferred. Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely; ability to navigate routes efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Capable of working independently in the field while managing multiple installations or repairs efficiently.
