Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist

Overview As an Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist, you’ll deliver, assemble, and install appliances in customers’ homes. You’ll use mechanical knowledge, hand and power tools, and safe company vehicle operation to complete each job with care. This field service role combines customer service with practical troubleshooting and installation work. Duties Load, secure, and deliver appliances using a box truck; protect customers’ homes and equipment during transport and setup. Install and assemble appliances, completing applicable plumbing and electrical work according to job requirements and safety procedures. Use schematics, hand tools, power tools, and a ladder as needed to complete installations and appliance repair. Troubleshoot equipment issues, including those involving refrigeration, and explain the work clearly to customers. Your impact: Careful delivery, installation, and troubleshooting help customers use their appliances safely and confidently. Experience Mechanical knowledge and experience with appliance installation, appliance repair, or field service are valuable. Electrical experience, plumbing skills, and familiarity with refrigeration and equipment troubleshooting are preferred. Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), assembly, and reading schematics is helpful. Ability to operate a company vehicle and box truck safely, use hand and power tools, and work from a ladder.
