Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist

Job Summary As an Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist, you’ll deliver appliances to customers’ homes and install them safely and correctly. You’ll use mechanical knowledge, hand and power tools, and equipment troubleshooting skills to complete each job, while providing clear, courteous customer service. Your impact: Careful delivery and installation help customers use their appliances safely and confidently. Duties Load, secure, transport, and deliver appliances while operating a company vehicle responsibly. Install appliances, including connecting plumbing and electrical components when qualified and authorized. Use schematics, hand tools, and power tools to complete installations and identify equipment issues. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain appliances and related equipment; apply refrigeration knowledge where needed. Communicate with customers about delivery, installation, and service needs; follow safe practices when using ladders and handling equipment. Qualifications Customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally in customers’ homes. Mechanical knowledge and experience with appliance installation, appliance repair, or equipment repair. Familiarity with equipment troubleshooting, schematics, hand tools, power tools, and ladder use. Electrical experience or plumbing skills; refrigeration knowledge is a plus. Delivery driver experience, company vehicle operation, or experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) is preferred.
