Las Vegas Harley-davidsonSummary Description Coordinate receiving, tagging and stocking of motorclothes, collectibles and licensed products. Key Results Areas: Employ sound practices to ensure merchandise is properly received, accounted for, tagged properly and made available for sale on a timely basis. Assist with set-up, organization, staffing, and staging of special events such as open houses, HOG activities, etc. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction. Major Duties and Responsibilities: 1) Receiving Department Operations Ensure all prices and quantities of merchandise-received match the corresponding purchase order. Ensure correct prices and quantities are entered into the computer. Inspect and appraise all merchandise received for damage. Ensure proper hanging, folding, and tagging of all merchandise received. Ensure accuracy and proper distribution of all paperwork. Inventory accuracy/discrepancies Intercompany purchase orders/transfers 2) Motorclothes and Collectibles Warehouse Operations Check purchase orders and to help maintain inventory stock levels. Ensure warehouse is kept clean and orderly. Follow procedures for stocking, cleaning and maintaining warehouse. Become efficient in all aspects of assigned computer software. Ensure that all warranty issues and merchandise are handled according to company policy. 3) Customer Service Greet customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner. Commitments: Treat all employees and customers fairly, courteously, and with respect. Be prompt and available for flexible scheduling. Be honest and fair in all business dealings. Qualifications and Job Requirements: Previous experience with retail sales and inventory control is preferred. Experience with point-of-sale and parts management computer software or the ability to quickly learn due to general knowledge and experience with computers. Ability to manage time and demands professionally as well as personally. Must maintain a professional appearance and a neat, well organized work area. Physical Demands: Occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach and lift 40 lb. of material. Standing and walking for most or all the up to 8-hour shift. Use of both arms and hands frequently the entire shift. Ability to manage stress. Working Conditions: Is potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.
