Qnity has an exciting and challenging opportunity, Analytical and Functional Test Area Leader supporting both the Semiconductor (Litho) and Interconnect Solutions (Packaging and M&I) Businesses. The position will be located in Marlborough, Massachusetts, USA and responsible for the incoming, in process and outgoing quality control of products manufactured at the Marlborough Plant.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, maintain and strengthen Quality standards for processes in all aspects related to product manufacturing and test
· Identify & implement improvements to the analytical and functional quality methodology. Be accountable for overall quality control as it related to raw materials, in process testing and final product, this includes partnering with Manufacturing, Fab, Raw Material, Product Quality & Engineering activities which affect Quality of the product
· Responsible for instrument & method trouble shooting, transfer of new methods from Leveraged Analytical Services, Litho & ACP R&D
· Responsible for ensuring those techniques shown to improve Quality (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis, SPC, robust Root Cause Analysis & Change Management processes, etc…) are used to an increasing extent
· Represent the company during interactions with customers and auditors regarding Quality Control.
· Partner with Leveraged Analytical Services, Product Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering on product complaint investigation.
· Own quality objectives for the site. Set up KPI’s for measuring performance against the objectives and present those KPI’s at internal management meetings.
· People management activities for approximately an organization of ~40 members in the team - including three fiirst level supervisors. People management activities including but not limited to goal setting & progress monitoring, development planning, coaching, training, budgeting etc.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in a technical discipline such as Chemistry or Engineering
· > 8+ years technical experience
· Understanding of analytical and functional test
· Experience working with customers, suppliers or auditors
· Working knowledge of Quality management skills such as SPC, FMEA, DOE, Six-sigma and use of statistical software such as JMP.
· Demonstrated success resolving technical challenges in a time-critical situation and collaborating with other groups.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong influential leadership skills and people/team development skills

· Data Analytics for Quality Control
· Analytical certifications such as ASQ, ISO9001-2015
