The Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Marine Region is seeking a motivated individual to work as an Analyst I located at one of the following locations: Seal Beach/Santa Rosa/Monterey. Under the direct supervision of the Marine Region Administrative Officer II in the Administrative Program-Procurement Unit, the Analyst I will provide various technical and analytical duties. Duties include the following functions: Preparation and processing of purchase requests in accordance with State and Department mandates, access/navigate/utilize the States Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal), provide purchasing support to program staff, act as the Regional Coordinator for all procurement printing need and serve as a backup role for other procurement analysts within the unit when needed. The Analyst I will also provide regional support with logistics planning, coordination for meetings, assist with Americans with Disabilities Act for compliance with public facing documents. At times, the Analyst I will also assume the role of administrative assistant/executive assistant for the Marine Regional Manager and senior staff. Position will be filled in the following multiple counties: Orange, Monterey, Sonoma Personal Leave Program: Effective July 1, 2025, state employees are subject to temporary salary reductions ranging from 2% to 4.62% in exchange for Personal Leave Program (PLP) hours.
