Analyst (FT) 340B Program, Remote
Dartmouth HealthOverview Identifies and extracts eligible 340B transactions and keeps records of eligible transactions and ordering of 340B products in an effort to maintain compliance and audit preparedness. Responsibilities Maximizes the value opportunity for the program and is involved in all 340B audits. Calculates financial assessments as needed for budgeting and system performance Extracts from the billing data transactions that may be eligible for 340B purchasing. Filters out non-eligible transactions as drugs used to treat patients during inpatient care, Medicaid patients, drugs provided free by manufacturers, provided at non-eligible locations or written by non-eligible providers. Tracks detailed drug purchases and usage at the National Drug Code (NDC) level to ensure compliance with replenishment requirements set by the Federal Office of Pharmacy Affairs. Creates and maintains an ongoing database of available units for ordering and provides each buyer with information needed to place orders using the appropriate 340B account. Meets on a regular basis with various vendors to ensure that maintenance of databases containing NDC numbers are accurate and align with purchasing databases. Maintains an up to date standard work manual on the 340B Program. Develops and maintains reports for compliance and audit purposes. This is including but not limited to final audit findings, tracking the overall financial contribution to the D-H organization, and examples for ongoing education. Performs other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications Associates degree or the equivalent of education and relevant experience required. Minimum of 2 years of working in a health care related experience required. Pharmacy Procurement experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous 340B experience preferred. Must possess advanced knowledge and experience in Excel required. Prior experience with pharmacy applications like EPIC or 340B split billing software required. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills required. Strong problem solving and customer service skills, along with solid oral and written communication skills required.
