Amazon DSP Dispatcher

Job Summary Join our dynamic logistics team as an Amazon DSP Dispatcher, where you will play a vital role in coordinating and managing the efficient dispatch of delivery vehicles within our supply chain network. This energetic position requires a proactive approach to transportation planning, vehicle dispatching, and communication with drivers, vendors, and internal teams. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, optimal fleet utilization, and seamless operations across road transportation activities. Responsibilities Coordinate daily dispatch schedules for delivery drivers using vehicle dispatch software and transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and AS400. Monitor GPS and GIS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure adherence to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Communicate effectively via multi-line phone systems and internal communication channels to relay instructions, updates, and resolve issues promptly. Manage freight shipments, shipping & receiving processes, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards. Utilize data entry skills for accurate logging of dispatch activities, driver logs, customer interactions, and shipment details. Collaborate with supply chain teams to coordinate logistics operations, including 3PL (third-party logistics) providers and fleet management. Handle phone call management with professionalism using phone etiquette while providing excellent customer service to drivers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Experience Proven experience in transportation planning, dispatching, or road transportation operations within a logistics or supply chain environment. Familiarity with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or SyteLine is highly desirable. Strong analysis skills for route optimization, freight management, and problem-solving in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of vehicle dispatch software, fleet management tools, and shipping & receiving procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively using multi-line phone systems and data entry platforms like AS400 or Excel. Understanding of DOT regulations related to vehicle operation, safety standards, and compliance requirements. Effective communication skills for internal coordination and customer service excellence across diverse teams. Join us in delivering excellence!
