Intersection Logistics is looking to hire delivery drivers for the Front-half of the week (Monday Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) -Job Requirements Daily start time - 9:20am (first load out)(earlier start, earlier finish) Must be able to skillfully drive a large delivery vehicle without causing damage to company/customer/public property Comprehension of basic handheld technology. Reliable transportation Reliable form of communication Must be 21+ and have a valid driver’s license within the state of employment Must consent to drug screening (marijuana excluded for pre-employment drug test) - Pay/Benefits First load out of the day. (Start earlier, finish earlier) Starting base pay $22.00/hr. Efficiency bonuses available for finishing route in less than 10 hours. (Guaranteed 10 hour pay) Rescue pay of $25 per bag of packages (helping a route that has fallen behind schedule after completing your own route). Weekly pay via direct deposit. Competitive yearly pay increases. Health Insurance plus vision/dental available. 2 weeks paid time off. - Job Description Deliver Amazon packages from an Amazon branded delivery vehicle. Drivers must be able to complete routes on time regardless of routine barriers. Average rural route stop count: 140-170. Average suburban route stop count: 170-200. Drivers will climb various flights of stairs, walk various driveways, and deliver in all weather conditions which requires strong physical and mental stamina/endurance. Amazon delivery vans monitor and report unsafe driving behaviors such as distractions, speeding, seatbelts usage, stop sign violations, and following distance. Drivers must maintain acceptable safe driving behaviors (training provided). Amazon monitors important quality metrics such as accuracy of delivery location, amount of packages returned, and compliance with customer notes.
