SCHEDULE
• 3 to 4 scheduled days per week — set weekly schedule, known in advance
• One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) required each week
• Shifts run about 10 hours with early-morning starts
• Daily hours depend on customer order volume and vary by day and season; hours are not guaranteed
• Extra days available during peak season
• Two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute meal break per full shift
REQUIREMENTS
• 21 years or older (required by our insurance and the Amazon DSP program)
• Valid, non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license (out-of-state licenses accepted; processing may take longer)
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen (does not include marijuana) and background check, conducted in accordance with applicable law
• Satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations may disqualify)
• Able to communicate in English — reading delivery instructions, using the delivery app, and talking with customers and dispatch are essential functions
• Able to perform the physical functions below, with or without reasonable accommodation
• No commercial, DOT, or CDL experience required — it's a plus, but we train you. Military veterans welcome!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Deliver packages safely and on time across Macomb and Oakland County
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections
• Follow all traffic laws, road regulations, and Company policies
• Provide great customer service, even on tough days
• Load and unload packages in your delivery vehicle
• Use a Company-provided smartphone for navigation, scanning, clocking in/out, and team communication
• Stay in touch with dispatch and support, and help teammates with rescue routes when needed
Physical demands — this is an active job:
• Lift, carry, and move packages up to 50 lbs frequently
• Use a hand truck to move heavier loads of packages
• Get in and out of the van repeatedly throughout the day
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and on varied routes
