Company Overview The UPS Store is a locally-owned franchise, specializing in shipping and return solutions for various entities and corporate partners. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Amazon Clerk to join our front counter team. This paid position involves managing pre-labeled drop-offs and Amazon returns, processing shipments, and supporting smooth flow of items through the center. The ideal candidate will be friendly and outgoing, detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence. Responsibilities Scan barcodes and QR codes for returns and outbound packages. Utilize shipping management systems and consolidation management software to accurately process incoming and outgoing returns and shipments. Assist with kiosk management, assisting customers to navigate the screens as necessary, and keeping the bin tidy and cleared regularly. Support stock replenishment, packaging, and outbound consolidations to meet customer demands efficiently. Operate warehouse equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures. Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and improve overall workflow. Scan packages and apply RFID labeling before placing for pickup. Lift and carry packages weighing up to 40 pounds. Lift, bend and stand for up to 6 hours at a time. Experience Previous experience working in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRPs is highly desirable Basic math skills required for counting and verifying shipments Demonstrated ability to perform data entry accurately in fast-paced environments Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills Knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and trade compliance regulations will be beneficial This role offers an engaging opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to a dynamic logistics environment.
