Allocation Planner
HireTalentJob Title: Allocation Planner Location: Beaverton, OR Duration: 8 Months Contract WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH You will partner cross functionally with Assortment Planning, Merchandising, Location Planning, Business Planning, Marketplace Supply Chain, and Brand teams. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for an Allocation Planner to deliver plans aligned to the Company's Sport Offense to achieve channel financial targets including Revenue, Margin, Inventory, and Profitability through optimizing seasonal, monthly and weekly flow to maximize in-stock rates and mitigate lost demand. MUST-HAVE Demonstrated experience in allocation planning and understanding of financial, product and inventory planning Retail field or store experience Good with data, spreadsheets, Excel A deep understanding of how to use data to drive decisions and communicate business needs effectively Strong understanding of merchandise, consumer, and sport as it relates to the Direct strategy Solid knowledge foundation of Excel and MS Windows applications Ability to concisely present complex information/recommendations in meaningful terms to various audiences Understands store operations and how freights are received Nice-To-Have Knowledge of the Just Enough allocation system a plus Previous industry experience (preferred) Education / Experience Substitutions Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 yr; Masters + 0-3 yrs; Associate degree + 1-3 yrs; High School + 3-5 yrs What You'll Work On Set seasonal flow plan and store-level allocation plans based on seasonal initiatives, key consumer priorities, store-level strategy, and revenue drivers. Develop style/color/size level load-in and replenishment for all stores. Monitor store performance weekly and adjust allocation units as needed based on performance vs. plan variance Partner w/ x-functional partners to identify opportunities and execute in-season cross-channel inventory trade activities to maximize full-price sales Maintain and balance healthy inventory levels w/ optimal Weeks of Supply (WOS) for key consumer x sport x channel segments across the fleet Influence Assortment Planning team on size curve opportunities during pre-season order entry Support timely and accurate execution in support of new store openings Partner with the Assortment Planning and Merchandising to prioritize allocation of everyday essential and seasonal product across channels
