Allocation Analyst

Job Title: Retail Allocation Analyst (Demand Planner 1) 📍 Location: Portland, OR 🕒 Duration: 8-Month Contract (Oct 2026 – Jun 2027) Description: Manage store-level inventory allocations and replenishment activities to ensure optimal product availability across retail locations. Analyze sales, inventory, and allocation data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for inventory optimization. Monitor store performance and adjust allocation strategies to maximize revenue, in-stock rates, and inventory productivity. Collaborate with Merchandising, Assortment Planning, Supply Chain, and Business Planning teams to support inventory and business objectives. Maintain healthy inventory levels and support Weeks of Supply (WOS) targets through effective allocation and replenishment planning. Support new store launches and ensure timely inventory deployment across channels. Utilize Excel and analytical tools to create reports, track KPIs, and drive data-based decisions. Work closely with retail operations teams to understand store needs, freight receiving processes, and inventory flow. Required Skills: 2+ years of experience in Allocation Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, or Retail Planning. Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Reporting). Retail store operations experience. Inventory allocation and replenishment planning knowledge. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Previous Nike, Apparel, Footwear, Fashion, or Retail industry experience preferred
