Duties Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, encouraging upselling opportunities Maintain well-stocked shelves through merchandising and stocking activities to keep the store attractive and organized Handle cash, process payments accurately, and perform cash handling duties with integrity Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating replenishment needs Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support supervising staff by helping oversee daily store operations and ensuring excellent customer service standards Qualifications Prior retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment, is highly desirable Demonstrated supervising experience in a retail setting is a plus Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transactions and inventory counts Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demonstrations to engage customers effectively Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of cashiering procedures, cash handling, and retail math principles Ability to maintain professional phone etiquette and communicate clearly with team members and customers Join us at <LOCATION> Tobacco Shop Plus where your energy fuels our success!
