•Manage taxi dispatch operations from the terminal booth or taxi lot, ensuring timely dispatching of cabs.
•Provides accurate data entry of taxis and customer information into the computer system.
•Coordinate the flow of taxi cabs between the taxi lot and the terminal, ensuring availability for customer pickup.
•Respond to customer complaints professionally and work towards resolving issues.
•Maintain clear communication with on-site Sergeants via email or phone calls as required.
•Answer phone and radio calls, providing guidance and assistance to callers.
•Contact drivers and employees through the telephone system for effective service coordination.
•Record and check drivers’ time in and out for processing short trips or “no run” cases accurately
•Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRES:
•High school graduation and 1 year of experience as a security officer.
•Must pass a background check, drug screen, and a physical examination as prescribed by the City.
•May be required to obtain the appropriate license issued by the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department, depending on the specific assignment.
•Must pass 10-Year TSA Background Check
•Must possess a valid State-issued driver's license.
