As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $28.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Requirements Valid Driver's License Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring Airport Security Experience: 1+ years 21+ years of age Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements) NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property What You'll Do: Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and other stakeholders while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned airport locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for unusual conditions, unattended property, access-control concerns, and potential hazards, and report observations through established procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; coordinate with airport operations, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as directed. Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives. Minimum Requirements: Have at least one year of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
