ilities:
• Load, unload, service, guide, and direct customer aircraft.
• Safeguard customer baggage, air cargo, and airmail from loss, theft, and damage.
• Lift, sort, and transfer passenger baggage and freight in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate pushback equipment while maintaining visual communication with Wing Walkers.
• Record customer baggage and freight information accurately.
• Transport cargo and baggage between the aircraft and designated areas while preparing necessary documentation.
• Drive motorized equipment and assist in manual handling of baggage and cargo.
• Complete all paperwork and reports related to your responsibilities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Must be a local resident.
• Valid in-state driver's license required.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to undergo a 10-year background check.
• Age requirement: at least 18 years.
• Authorization to work in the United States is necessary.
• Completion of ramp and SIDA training is required for airport identification security.
• Must be able to regularly lift/carry/push/pull items of 70 pounds or more.
• Physical capability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of relevant experience is a plus.
