CDL Class A Driver – LAX Air Cargo / PMC Pallet Pickup Company: Unique Freight Transport INC. Position: CDL Class A Driver – LAX Air Cargo Pickup & Delivery Location: Los Angeles / LAX Area Job Type: Full-Time From Thursday to Monday Job Description Unique Freight Transport INC. is seeking a dependable and professional CDL Class A Driver to perform local air-cargo pickups and deliveries at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) . The primary responsibility of this position is picking up and transporting PMC air-cargo pallets and other air freight using roller-bed trucks/trailers . The driver will regularly work with airline cargo facilities, freight forwarders, warehouses, and our dispatch team. We are looking for someone who understands that airport cargo work requires punctuality, communication, attention to paperwork, cargo security, and safe equipment operation . Responsibilities Pick up PMC pallets and air cargo from LAX cargo facilities Operate trucks and roller-bed equipment safely Properly position, load, secure, and transport PMC pallets and other air cargo Perform local pickups and deliveries throughout the Los Angeles area Check freight and paperwork before leaving cargo facilities Handle delivery orders, airway bills, manifests, receipts, and other shipping documents Verify pallet counts and report shortages, damage, or discrepancies immediately Communicate with dispatch regarding cargo availability, waiting time, delays, and completed pickups Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain the truck and equipment in clean, safe operating condition Follow airport, warehouse, customer, DOT, and company safety requirements Provide professional customer service when dealing with airlines, freight forwarders, warehouses, and customers Driver Requirements Valid California CDL Class A , with any endorsements required for the equipment/cargo being operated Acceptable driving record Commercial driving experience preferred LAX air-cargo experience strongly preferred Experience handling PMC pallets and roller-bed equipment strongly preferred Ability to safely maneuver trucks in busy airport cargo and warehouse areas Ability to understand shipping and receiving paperwork Dependable, punctual, and able to follow dispatch instructions Must meet all applicable company, California, and federal driver qualification requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be able to obtain and maintain any airport/security credentials required for the position Preferred Experience We especially want to hear from drivers who have previous experience with LAX cargo terminals, air freight, PMC pallets, roller-bed trucks or trailers, freight forwarders, import/export cargo, airline cargo facilities, and local pickup and delivery operations. Schedule This is a local driving position . Work primarily involves LAX and surrounding Southern California freight facilities. Schedule and start times may vary depending on airline cargo availability, flight arrivals, freight releases, warehouse hours, and customer requirements . Applicants should be comfortable with a transportation environment where occasional waiting time and schedule changes can occur.
