Air Traffic Controller Instructor

Position Summary: ESP seeks full-time Air Traffic Controller Instructors to instruct on our NATTC Air Traffic Control schoolhouse courses at NAS Pensacola, FL. Job duties and responsibilities include but non limited to Conduct scheduled CI led/supported training for Simulator, Training Device and Systems Training using traditional and modern tools such as interactive white boards, computers and video projector systems. Evaluate student training performance as required. Evaluate and record trainer performance IAW established criteria. Maintain, assess, and recommend improvements to mission scenarios for effectiveness and currency. Review curriculum, assess and recommend improvements to the training program via the appropriate training management officials. Provide classroom instruction and recommendations for improvement, to include tests and test materials, lesson plans, and trainee guides under the guidelines of current directives. Conduct training device operation instruction to personnel as necessary, to include instruction and grading/assessments. Provide academic instruction to include Prepare classrooms / workstations / labs prior to commencing instruction to include equipment set-up and operational testing . Assist with simulator and training device inspections and certification programs and other special projects, as required, to include mishap re-creation and testing. Other weapons system specific support responsibilities, as listed in appendices. Site specific Provide further requirements for CIs to perform as responsibilities, assignments, qualifications, cognizant authority for designations, and annual requirements for certifications.Brief/Debrief students under instruction in the classroom and on the field. Reports to the Site Manager or Shift Supervisor. Experience: U.S. Citizen Current SECRET clearance Minimum experience of 8 years as an ATC Controller. Schoolhouse Instructor in the last 5 years Current or previously qualified as a Master Training Specialist (MTS) or the equivalent for other services (e.g., Marine Corp, Air Force, Army, etc.,).
