Air & Ocean Freight Specialist

Manage air and ocean freight files in Houston across both import and export. You will handle bookings, shipping documentation, customs coordination and delivery while working directly with customers and overseas agents. This is an end-to-end forwarding role rather than a single-stage processing position. It suits someone with at least two years of relevant experience who can maintain accurate files and keep customers informed throughout a shipment. Responsibilities Coordinate air and ocean import and export shipments from booking to final delivery. Prepare master and house bills of lading, air waybills, commercial invoices and certificates of origin. Handle ISF and AMS filings, carrier and co-loader bookings, and customs clearance coordination. Track shipments, identify service exceptions and keep customers and overseas agents informed. Maintain accurate shipment documentation and follow through on outstanding delivery requirements. Your experience At least two years of freight forwarding experience across air and ocean. Working knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documentation and customs clearance processes. Experience managing shipment files and communicating directly with customers and service providers. The ability to prioritize live shipments and produce accurate documentation under deadline.
