Air Freight Operator

Key Responsibilities: Monitor import and export shipments, follow-up, tracking and tracing, problem identification and timely resolution; Interact with customers on phone; provide shipment status, customs regulations and procedures; handle customer complaints and concerns. Build close, strong relationships with all our customers, overseas agents and service providers; Complete processing of all documentation required including invoicing and import declaration if required; Assist in reviewing network and routings in the Business District and suggest potential improvement on transit time and cost effectiveness Assist in streamlining processes and identify improvement areas Conduct research and analysis of routes using historical data, reports and reviews Day to day operations to include dealing with customers/customs clearance/ airlines & other reports and administration duties. Ensure all quality control procedures are updated and adhered to. Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: 5+ years’ experience in freight forwarding and logistics industry Minimum relevant bachelor’s degree or college diploma Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills Detail-oriented, strong communication skills Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental care Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off Application question(s): how many years experience do you have in air freight operation?
