Job Duties and Responsibilities of Air Export Specialist:
• Coordinate all aspects of air export shipments, ensuring timely bookings with airlines on behalf of customers.
• Prepare and manage export documentation, including Certificates of Origin, Cargo Manifests, NAFTA Certificates, Airway Bills, and other required documents.
• Comply with AES (Automated Export System) filings for customs requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of cargo by coordinating with customers and/or warehouse teams.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers and overseas teams to track shipment status and meet delivery commitments.
• Follow up with airlines to monitor departures, arrivals, and updates.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of services rendered.
• Maintain and update customer profiles in company systems.
• Meet all assigned KPIs and adhere to company procedures.
Qualifications and Experience of Air Export Specialist:
• 1+ year of experience in transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding; air export experience preferred but not required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Exceptional customer service skills with strong attention to detail and follow-up abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Cargo Wise or similar logistics systems is a plus.

Salary:
$21.32 - $28.43 per hour, based on experience.
