Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate all outbound and inbound loads as needed.
- Process pre-claims to airlines and/or handling agents when cargo arrives damaged.
- Check cargo condition to ensure it leaves in good condition for our customers.
- Ensure timely departure of cargo to airlines meeting cutoff times.
- Verify weight discrepancies and communicate with the appropriate team members.
- Conduct daily recounts of all remaining cargo in the warehouse for physical inventory checks.
- Provide security and escort coordination based on airline requirements and cargo pickup volume.
- Supervise ULD build-up and breakdown to ensure proper handling and construction.
- Monitor Dangerous Goods (DG) handling to ensure segregation and correct loading procedures.
- Maintain communication with warehouse, operations, and handling agent personnel.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in warehouse air cargo operations.
- At least 1+ years’ supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Inventory maintenance experience is a plus.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
