Air and Ocean Import Agent

We are looking for an experienced Air & Ocean Import Agent to join a globally established freight forwarder in Atlanta. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing import shipments from arrival through to final delivery, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and customers receive a high level of service. Key Responsibilities: Manage air and ocean import shipments from arrival through to final delivery. Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, overseas agents, and customers. Prepare and process import documentation and customs clearance requirements. Track shipments and provide customers with regular updates. Arrange deliveries and coordinate with transport providers. Ensure all shipments comply with customs and import regulations. Resolve operational issues and delays promptly. Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure deadlines are met. Requirements: Previous experience in air and ocean freight forwarding, preferably in imports. Good knowledge of import procedures, customs, and freight documentation. Strong communication and organisational skills. CargoWise experience is required Salary: Up to $70,000 per year
