AI & Operations Associate

About Us Brancato's Heating and Cooling is a small, growing HVAC company serving homes and businesses across Cumberland County, Maine. We've outgrown our spreadsheets and we need someone with initiative to help us build what comes next. The Role You'll be embedded with our operations team with wide latitude to identify what's broken, build the systems to fix it, and ship solutions. Structuring our data - clean up and organize customer records, inventory, jobs, and vendor info in Housecall Pro and Google Drive. Writing SOPs - document repeatable processes for inventory management, customer acquisition, dispatch, marketing, and any other gaps you find. Improving our web presence - make targeted updates to our Square space site to drive more leads. Using AI as a daily tool - leverage state-of-the-art LLMs from Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI to multiply your output. We'll give you a daily stipend. Doing whatever the day calls for - include physical work like organizing the shop, moving parts, and light inventory lifts. What a Win Looks like by Month Three Written SOPs covering marketing, inventory, invoicing, and/or other key areas. Who You Are Highly Detailed - you're the person who notices when a number doesn't add up, a field is blank, or a process has a gap. You take pride in getting it right the first time. High Agency - you see something broken and fix it without being asked. Systems Thinker - you naturally ask "how does this scale?" and "where's the bottleneck?" What You Get Paid hourly ($24–$27/hr depending on experience). Access to SOTA LLMs. Allowance of daily inference. Ownership over meaningful work at a growing company.
