Agricultural Warehouse Technician
Talentco Recruiting LLCAbout the Role We are looking for an Agriculture & Warehouse Operations Lead to help oversee the day-to-day operations of our agricultural warehouse and support the movement, organization, and management of agricultural products and materials. The ideal candidate has a strong background in agriculture and understands agricultural products, equipment, materials, and day-to-day agricultural operations. Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate on our warehouse systems, inventory processes, receiving, shipping, and logistics. This is a hands-on position for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable working in an agricultural environment, and willing to take ownership of daily operations. Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate daily agricultural warehouse operations Receive, inspect, organize, and store agricultural products and materials Maintain accurate inventory and ensure products are properly labeled and stored Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments Prepare orders and materials for delivery or distribution Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse Monitor inventory levels and communicate when materials need to be replenished Assist with loading and unloading products and materials as needed Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment after proper training Work closely with agricultural and operations teams to ensure materials are available when needed Help establish and improve warehouse organization and inventory procedures Maintain accurate records of inventory, receiving, shipments, and other warehouse activities Identify damaged, missing, or incorrectly received products and help resolve issues Follow all company safety procedures and applicable agricultural handling requirements Help train and coordinate other warehouse employees as the operation grows Perform other operational duties as needed QualificationsRequired Agriculture experience or a strong agricultural background Understanding of agricultural products, materials, equipment, or operations Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities Reliable, dependable, and willing to be hands-on Ability to lift and move materials as required for the position Comfortable working in a warehouse and agricultural environment Basic computer skills and willingness to learn inventory/warehouse software Preferred Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, or distribution experience Forklift experience or certification Experience supervising or leading employees Experience with agricultural supplies, products, equipment, or materials Experience with inventory management systems Warehouse experience is not required. We are willing to train a qualified candidate who brings the right agricultural knowledge, work ethic, and attitude. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can become a key part of our operation. You may come from a farm, agricultural operation, greenhouse, nursery, agricultural production facility, or another agriculture-related background. If you understand agriculture but haven't worked extensively in a warehouse, don't let that stop you from applying . We can teach you the warehouse side of the position. What we value most is agricultural knowledge, reliability, organization, initiative, and the ability to learn.
