Agricultural Warehouse & General Labor Associate

Warehouse & General Labor Associate Midwest Grass & Forage is seeking a dependable, hardworking Warehouse & General Labor Associate to join our team. In this role, you will handle seed mixing, inventory management, and general facility upkeep to ensure smooth daily operations, as well as some deliveries. If you are looking for a job that changes with the seasons and no two days are the same, this is the job for you! This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week. Occasionally employees may be asked to put in a few extra hours, but it is voluntary and typically occurs less than 20 days a year. Key Responsibilities Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare seed products for shipment, delivery or customer pickup. This sometimes includes creating custom mixtures as well. Load and unload delivery trucks safely using forklifts and pallet jacks. Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate inventory levels and rotate stock. Product Processing: Assist with blending, bagging, and labeling seed mixes according to order specifications. Facility & Equipment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and facility environment. Help maintain equipment and handle many routine maintenance tasks as skill set and equipment allow. Qualifications & Skills Physical Stamina: Ability to consistently lift and move bags weighing up to 70 lbs. Somedays will only require lifting 0 – 50 bags, other days may require 100 – 200 bags. Equipment Operation & Valid License with Clean Driving History: Experience safely operating a forklift or pallet jack is required. Employees are required to maintain a driver’s license with a clean driving record, allowing them to safely operate company trucks. CDL is preferred, and preference may be given to candidates holding one or that are willing to obtain one! Pre Employment Drug Screening is required , as well as random testing as employee will be operating heavy machinery and driving company vehicles. Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately read order sheets and match product labels. Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual attendance, and a team-player attitude.
