About the Position We are seeking a dependable and motivated Agricultural Warehouse Lead to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong agricultural background who is looking to take the next step in their career. Warehouse experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right individual on our warehouse operations, inventory systems, procedures, and processes. Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in agriculture and understand the fast-paced nature of the agricultural industry. Candidates with experience in farming, grain handling, agronomy, ag retail, seed, fertilizer, agricultural equipment, or other agricultural operations are encouraged to apply. The Agricultural Warehouse Lead will help oversee the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensure products and materials are properly received, stored, organized, and loaded, and help keep operations running efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities Assist with the day-to-day management of warehouse operations Receive, inspect, organize, and properly store incoming products and materials Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other equipment Maintain accurate inventory and ensure products are properly accounted for Prepare products, materials, and orders for delivery or customer pickup Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work area Coordinate with drivers, customers, vendors, and other members of the team Help prioritize daily warehouse activities based on operational needs Operate forklifts, skid steers, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed Assist with inventory counts and investigate inventory discrepancies Ensure products are handled and stored according to company procedures Help train and provide direction to other warehouse employees as needed Follow all company safety policies and procedures Communicate issues, inventory concerns, equipment problems, or operational needs to management Perform other duties as needed to support the overall operation What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, organized, and comfortable working in an agricultural environment. Ideal candidates may have experience as a: Farm Hand Farm Equipment Operator Grain Elevator Employee Agronomy Technician Custom Applicator Ag Retail Employee Seed/Fertilizer Employee Agricultural Equipment Operator Warehouse Employee Agricultural Parts Employee Production or Operations Lead Agricultural experience is strongly preferred. Warehouse experience can be taught to the right candidate. Qualifications Previous agricultural experience preferred Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and take initiative Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Valid driver's license Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly during busy agricultural seasons Why This Opportunity?
