MARY'S COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES PROCUREMENT DIVISION 23110 LEONARD HALL DRIVE LEONARDTOWN, MD 20650 Main Purpose of Job The main purpose of this position is to provide support for agency operations and to help the agency meet its overall mission. The duties include supply ordering and distribution; maintaining supply room; utilizing Financial Management Information System (FMIS) and eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA) to procure goods and services; monitoring and maintaining agency vehicles; managing office equipment; facility repair reporting and follow-up; preparing financial reports, etc. POSITION DUTIES Ensure proper maintenance and repair of fleet. Procure the agency's supply, material and equipment. Assist with facility issues. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must meet all minimum (and selective) qualifications to be considered, and to appear on the list of people eligible for hire. Please read all requirements before applying. Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. Experience: One year of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work. Notes: 1. Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience. 2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience. DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding your qualifications. Six months experience ordering, receiving, moving and lifting office supplies and equipment. Six months experience troubleshooting facility-related issues and/or equipment difficulties. Six months experience coordinating and managing maintenance on vehicles or equipment. Six months experience with computer programs like Google Application and Microsoft Suites. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Candidates may be responsible for providing their own transportation as needed to access meetings, remote locations, and job destinations as assigned.
