Aerospace & Defense Purchasing Specialist (SPECIFIC EXP ONLY)

Procurement Specialist/Buyer Wesco Mfg based in Long Island NY is a firmly established global leader in military defense. Contractor to over 60 nations worldwide, Wesco is a leading supplier of military and commercial equipment and support services. As a result of exponential growth, our firm seeks highly motivated individuals for procurement of commercial and military aerospace and defense related spares and repairs. Purchasing background for industry specific commodities relating to aircraft, ground support and missile systems is requested. Duties include sourcing, quotation, negotiation and procurement. Industry experience in this specific field is required along with an extensive knowledge of parts sourcing and research methods such as ILS, Haystack and etc is a must. Further background requested in repair sourcing for avionics, hydraulics, instrumentation and etc. Experience with operating PENTAGON2000 SQL software preferred.
