East Stroudsburg University is hiring an Admissions Operations Specialist! Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, ESU’s proximity to New York City and Philadelphia provides convenient access to internships, careers and social activities. Just minutes from campus are the country’s largest water parks, scenic Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area, Appalachian Trail, and other opportunities for recreational fun.
As the Admissions Operations Specialist, you will need to think creatively and be comfortable managing the reception area for the Office of Admissions as one of the first points of contact. You will be an active member of the Enrollment Management team and will work closely with the Director of First Year Admissions to provide excellent service to potential students and their families. You will thrive in this role if you like combining your customer service background and clerical experience all while utilizing your interpersonal skills to support the department's recruiting events. To be successful in this role, you must be detail orientated, have top-rate customer service skills, and possess the ability to meet deadlines with high volumes of data entry.
Your normal hours will be Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, but you may have to flex your schedule from time to time based on the needs of the business to be a true Admissions Operations Specialist. When our team shows up for work, they are energized and motivated to succeed - all while being the most crucial piece to keeping the ESU operations humming.
