Company Overview McGinn's PistachioLand is a vibrant 111-acre pistachio farm and winery located in Southern New Mexico. We offer a unique blend of agricultural experiences, including pistachio orchards, a vineyard, motorized farm tours, a retail gift shop, an ice cream parlor, and a commercial candy kitchen. Summary We are seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team at McGinn's PistachioLand. The administrative assistant will work closely with the mail order and merchandising departments to assist in tasks related to pricing merchandise, counting inventory, checking in merchandise, and clerical functions like filing, printing and data entry. This position requires a high school education with proficiency in math, reading/ writing and computer literacy. Phone customer service skills are desired. A detail oriented person with a background in customer service and office or retail work is mandatory. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and the ability to be on your feet up to 8 hours a day. Daily hours aare 9am to 5pm, five days a week including Saturdays and Holidays. Responsibilities Oversee the shipping and receiving of products to ensure timely delivery and accuracy. Assist in moving products between buildings, building pallets for shipment. Maintain a supply inventory in all departments within McGinn's operations. Maintain inventory records using warehouse management systems. Prepare orders for shipment, including packing and labeling products correctly. Assist in managing stock levels and conducting regular inventory checks. Collaborate with team members to streamline order fulfillment processes. Ensure compliance with safety regulations within the warehouse environment. Checking in merchandise Clerical duties Requirements Experience in customer service, office and/ or retail. Food handler experience and certification. Must be 21 or older due to alcohol sales. Ability to operate pallet jacks safely. Ability to be on your feet 8 hours a day and lift up to 50 pounds. Bending and lifting often required. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Basic computer literacy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Flexible Schedule: This position is full-time. The business operates between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. every day of the week. No night hours required. Some holiday and weekend hours preferred. PistachioLand is a drug free workplace. Periodic random drug testing and background check required.
