Per Mar Security ServicesAdmin Assistant- Floyd Lock & Safe Per Mar Security Services is seeking a qualified candidate to provide administrative, clerical, and customer service support for the Lock and Safe division of our business, Floyd Lock & Safe. This role supports the daily operations of a busy locksmith business by providing administrative and clerical assistance, including data entry, reporting, work order processing and invoicing, inventory support, customer service, and lock shop assistance. Working with a team serving residential, commercial, and lock shop customers, this position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Perform accurate data entry, compile operational information and metrics, and assist with reporting. Generate, process, and invoice customer work orders while ensuring information is accurate and complete. Provide customer service and assist customers with sales, billing, service, and general inquiries. Work directly with walk-in customers in the lock shop to fulfill orders, process billing, and provide a positive customer experience. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, coordinating replenishment, maintaining inventory records, and processing supply orders. Assist lock technicians as needed to support daily lock shop and field operations. Review customer service information from emails, work orders, and job tickets to ensure accurate and timely processing. Work with department teams, technicians, and management to help resolve daily issues and keep workflows moving efficiently. Maintain accurate records and organized documentation while supporting efficient, customer-focused business operations. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee, customer, and business information with professionalism. What you’ll need: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1–4 years of relevant clerical, administrative, customer service, or office experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, and the ability to quickly learn database, inventory management, and other software systems. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with customers, technicians, department teams, and management. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and customer information with professionalism. Experience in a field service, locksmith, safe, or physical security environment is preferred.
